Regular hedge maintenance plans
Most hedges look their best with two or three cuts a year, timed to how they grow. On a maintenance plan, we book your visits in at the right times so you never have to think about it, and your hedges stay dense, healthy and in shape. [Ask about a maintenance plan.]
Nesting birds and the law
We cut hedges all year round, including spring and summer. Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, it’s an offence to damage or destroy an active bird’s nest, so between March and August we check every hedge carefully before we start. If we find an active nest, we work around it and come back to finish that section once the birds have gone.
Larger hedge and tree work
Some hedges have grown into trees. For tall leylandii, heavy reductions or anything that needs climbing or specialist equipment, our qualified tree surgeons take over, so you deal with one business from start to finish.
